I'm actually bringing a scaled-down version of my rig, but the pix will still look good!

Its my hope that I can demystify the process a little bit, and that folks come away with a good understanding of how to shoot, using the tools they already have.

Drop the cats off at the boarding kennel in two hours and then we are on our way.
You know it's not a good day when it starts out with, "Hey boss, we've got a weird one for you."

I'll see you at my house tomorrow, then off to "The Fest" on Saturday and Sunday, then back to my place for 10 days (or so) of modelling madness!

The year I did that, my son dumped an entire frozen cherry drink in my lap... I wore my swim trunks the next day.
Okay, okay, so it wasn't exactly like that, I forgot to pack more shorts. Thank god I was only there saturday to sunday. LOL!

Oh hell. I haven't even started with the clothes yet.
So far I have the car loaded with 8 contest entries. 2 other kits that I am bringing along for other reasons.
Painting/building supplies for last minute touch-ups in the hotel room. As well as to attach a few pieces that I did not think would travel well.

Snacks and beverages for the 8 hour drive. As well as for the 3 days we will be there, and for the 8 hour drive back.

Then there is my camera, the charger for the batteries, then any tools I might need for road-side repairs in case the car breaks down.

Just got done rolling a carton of cigarettes to get me through the weekend.

Kind of glad we aren't doing the Prehistoric Scenes display this year. Don't know if I would have enough room for all that too. Last year I think it was 6 boxes of stuff I brought just for the display.

Already here, unpacking kits to take the Iwata Class, have already seen some familiar faces and the various WF shenanigans have already begun.
