i just did this conversion for my personal collection, on this conversion idid the conversion and will be doing the paints.
he is called the black mask a villian in gotham city, i got a damaged dc direct spirt statue and thought he would make a great conversion snce he has a suit on {which the black mask uses}.
when i got the statue not only was it broke off the base...but the paint was cracked and flakey...i tried to do the stripping of the paint with acetone...and that stuff i wil never ever use again!!...it like made the resing gummy, paint did not come off, and the fumes almost made me pass out....the worse i dont know how yall use it
i did it the hard way...sanded and sanded and sanded all the weak crack paint off....by hand
next step was to get a 1/7th scale skull head which i search and search...then i called james from kit kong the model mansion and he had one left!!...thanks james!
i removed the head, then pinned the skull head and sculpted the kneck.
after this i sulpted the base in a concrete style and got the pistols from ebay
the hardest part was all the sanding off the cracked paint
