Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain

#1 Post by fusciart »

I finished reading this book about a month ago. The lessons took about a month to complete. I have to say it changed my approach to drawing and color theory in a dramatic way. Here is a sketch of the the Paquet Edison's Frankenstein built by Shaky Dave. Thanks for lookin"!

Excellent! Love your line work, it's shift in direction and width give it great energy. Read this book awhile back and it is quite useful.

Isn't that the best book on drawing... ever?!
I couldn't believe how quickly and easily my ability to "see" was changed.
Highly recommended.
And congrats and on such a tremendous piece.

Many thanks! It was like I was living in a sepia toned world and walked into the land of Oz. Drawing is now a rewarding experience for me now. I had some down time at work today and knocked these out.
