KIRK from STAR TREK BEYOND

#1 Post by Vger »

As you know (may be) already, I'm "a little bit" STAR TREK addict !

Image

So, when I saw the first images of the next ST movie "Star Trek Beyond" (and after, the 1st trailer...) , immediately, I wanted my own figurine of this next movie....

Kirk has, obviously, been my first choice ! (second was Jaylah , play by Sofia Boutella).
The basis of this conversion is the AMT / ERTL 12" vinyl kit of Mc Coy... (research of document has been almost as long as the manufacture... )
Add a forest base, as seen in the trailer....

The Base alone....

And with STID Spock...

Fantastic! An excellent build. The base is superb.

I like the photo with Spock.

Yap, always great work from your bench, man! Love the paintjob and the bases. That the figures are top notch is no secret, they are done by the best Star Trek modeler around. You!

Your paint work is always so spot-on. I love that base for Kirk too, really looks like a bit of forest floor.
