Gabriel Marquez' "DEEP TRESSPASS" - some nudity

#1 Post by Crazy Joe »

I'm going to catch up on some posting I've wanted to do for a while -

This is one of my favorite pieces from one of my favorite sculptors that languished on my shelf unfinished for YEARS, because of the input of my model nerd club here in Charlotte who thought that a shadowbox was the only way to properly do this piece justice, and while they may have been right, my muse wasn't pulling me in that direction, so on the shelf it sat.

A couple of years ago, I decided to defiantly finish this piece using my new skills and media - And I'm glad I did.

Her seashell bra is engineered to be removable (of course!!!) as is her necklace.

I painted her as if she was dark Mediterranean, think Greek or Cretan or Etruscan.

Thanks for lookin'!!!

Gabe's excecution of the woman's anatomy is simply sublime. Some of the best in GK world.

Great work. The facial expression brings her alive.

Superb. I like the 'movement' in this piece. An outstanding build.
