Prisma Color Pencils

Has anyone ever used Prisma color pencils on primed wood and if so what did you seal it with?

I've never used colored pencil on wood, but I have done a lot of colored pencil drawings. You have to be careful with clearcoats on top of them - the pencils are oil- or wax-based and the solvents in some clearcoats will melt them. Anything water-based should be OK. I use Krylon Fine Art Fixative or Crystal Clear sprays on my drawings. Whatever you choose, try it on a test piece first.
