One of my favorite Lon Chaney characters is the vampire from "London After Midnight"... this one was beautifully sculpted by Jeff Yagher and produced by Saul Alvarez. I had some extra time this week and was able to finish working on him.

Another great one Dennis! You must have one heck of a display/model room, huh? Wish there was a section where folks could post pics of their model displays. I would love to see how many kits you have on show. What's your larger interest Dennis, resin or styrene?

Hi Carl -
Thanks for your comment.... actually I have four display cases around the house and then several models on shelves in my studio. Thankfully my wife likes and appreciates them. 8)

I built styrene kits for many years until around 2010 when I discovered the resin kits... I much prefer working on the resin kits.

Thanks again,

- Denis

Wow! Sensational! Amazing flesh tones. His eyes are mouth are impressive too. The base is outstanding. A wonderful paint-up.

Excellent. I agree about resin vs styrene. Resin just feels and looks so much better (but it costs more...) :(

Hey, that's terrific… You got the googly eyes perfect! Love the "dusty" look to the cloak as well.
Very good work!

Yes I discovered resin kits about 4-5 yrs ago myself. I've gone hog wild collecting them too! I've had resin experience for years with my military models so working with it isn't anything new. Fell in love with it, there's nothing like it! Lot of money though. It's good the wife can appreciate them. You don't have to worry about a model-detector at the front door.
