Just saw Season 2, Ep 8. The "war flashback" episode. Feels like we are being set up for something coming down the pike ... story itself was a little unconvincing ... because Klingons are not supposed to do THAT ... hmmmmm ...

We'll see what happens next ... I have my suspicions ...

If you think Klingons acted out of character in S02E08 (I didn't by the way), make sure you are sitting down for E09

S02E09 was a bit divisive - many hated it, but I thought it was entertaining, clever, and different. It reminded me of an old "Buffy" episode - but not as good - you'll understand once you've seen it

OK - so we celebrated my wife's birthday by watching Season 2 Ep 9. She really liked it (because no scary/violent stuff).

And I must admit that I am a sucker for a good musical.

So I liked it. (Except for the embarrassing Klingon number that, fortunately, was SHORT).

(I do feel a bit cheated that there was no duet between La'an and Kirk.

Season 2, Ep 10

Well. I got my wish. (Be careful what you wish for ) An episode that "will be continued".

As you said Spike:

So many story lines. Brilliant on so many levels. Something about the way the new "Scotty" looks reminds me of Paul McCartney

The scene with the Gorn in the space suit was unexpected, amazingly well-done, and AWESOME!!!

[Yeah, I know they stole the whole key "Alien" storyline ... but ... I DON'T CARE!! ]
