OMG that is gorgeous - love the base! Did you get Krentz's Sue the TRex to go along with him?
Due to space limitations I did not. Perhaps when I win the lotto and get a bigger place.

Ok, I am posting this here, so maybe it will actually happen.
I AM GETTING TO MY WORKBENCH TODAY!!!!

The last two weeks, I have only been down there for about a half hour last Friday. Thanks to a series of real life projects and issues, I have been too busy to work on kits.
Today, that WILL change.
(I posted it, so now I have to do it  )

I got a couple hours in earlier. Eating dinner right now. Hope to get at least another hour in tonight, and get some photos posted later.

Well, I didn't make it down after dinner, but I did get one good photo to share.

Things are coming along on the Dark Shadows kits. Most of the clothing is done now, just have to add the details like buttons and ties and such. Then I have to get going on the flesh and hair.
And as you can see on the left, I did some work on the bases for the Blackheart busts I am working on.
Still haven't been in the right mindset to start on the eyes for either Kong yet.

No pics, but after just over a month, I finally found my way back to my workbench.

Squeezed in almost an hour of painting time tonight.
Felt good to hold a brush again.

Had to change the paper in my wet palette though. The paint that was left in there was in no shape to be useful anymore :)

Another bright point. I finally did more work on that Nosferatu that hasn't seen any love since January.

Even more bench time today.
Again, no pics. I'm just working on little stuff so not worth photographing yet.
Though I am hoping to wrap up the Dark Shadows kits by the end of the week. Possibly Nosferatu as well.
Hopefully after that I will have the will to tackle the eyes on the Kongs.

Got another half hour in today.
Small steps, but they are steps in the right direction.

That's good.

I am honestly hoping to be close to wrapping up WF entries this weekend.

Yeah, I am only going to finish the 6 kits that are almost done right now.
The 2 Dark Shadows kits only need a few small details then final glue.
The Kong bust just needs eyes and it is done.
The full figure needs eyes and a bit more work on the base, then screwed into the base.
Nosferatu needs a few minor details and eyes then final glue.
Godzilla bust - a little bit of this, and a little bit of that.

I know I still have 6 weeks, but I am not going to try to do any more than that.
I realize how close the show is, and also how many projects for the house I need to get done, or make progress on.
I also need to get my car in for an oil change, and some new tires before the trip. So I want to wrap up kits and get the house stuff moving.
That way, after the show, when I am so stoked to do stuff, maybe I can make time for the workbench instead of being tied up catching up on stuff around the house.
[shrugs]
It could work. It might not. But, I know from experience, if I push to get more kits done and throw all my spare time into it, I will spend the next few weeks after the show catching up. Thus, losing all momentum I had coming back from the show.
So time to try something different.

Half the details on Dark Shadows done, a bit more to go, then glue and clear coat.
Nosferatu is done with paint, arms are glued on. Dulcote tomorrow then gloss for some bits, and glue to base.
