Ginzu Shop Baragon 65 Diorama
Here is a 30 cm resin kit by Ginzu Shop of Baragon 65. I added some 1:144 scale JSDF tanks and a maser, which are really too small but fit on the base well. Here is a video:

Beautiful build up Jon!
When this thread popped up on my phone, as my computer is currently out of juice, I swear I thought the thread title read ginzu shop bargain
I was curious to see what you scored for such a bargain

Another brilliant build and diorama Jon! I have a small creative suggestion (not a criticism!), something I picked up watching a Godzilla build online recently, but applicable to any model scenes involving big heavy monsters.
And that is, they are damn heavy! By digging out the terrain and sinking the feet into the earth a bit around the heel, toes etc, it immediately helps give a sense of weight and tonnage to the creature. I guess you could dig the tyres
of the trucks into the ground a little as well, although not quite as much, maybe create tyre tracks?
Cheers,
Paul

Looks great. I really like that sculpt and pose, sorry to hear about the bad casting though.
The base came out great! I like the way you composed it.
The paint on Baragon is great as always. I always enjoy the way you soften the colors a bit to give things a bit more realistic life. The cheerier colors on him look better in the overall composition also. It makes him stand out from the surroundings a bit better and makes him the focal point.

Very cool.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?
Lord, what fools these mortals be! -Puck

Thanks Paul! Yes, I have done that on some of my custom dioramas, but digging into the resin is hard!Tiger2 wrote: ↑August 13th, 2023, 6:15 pm Another brilliant build and diorama Jon!
