What could I use?

UV-curing resin like Green Stuff World UV resin? Formula 560 Canopy Glue? PVA clear glue?

You can use elmers glue (or any PVA like it) It will dry clear and not haze the clear plastic.
On that front, I have always managed to get away with using testors and not haze the clear, but that is probably just my dumb luck.

Testors clear parts cement is probably your best bet. Or five-minute epoxy.
