I just restored a Billiken Dracula for use in a future Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein diorama
There will be a YouTube video on the restoration.
Hoping to finish another project before year's end. Stranger things have happened...
Here's the "Before" photo

That's some great restoration work. Going to be "can't wait to see" diorama.

Excellent restoration! He looks as I would imagine the colors from the A&C film.

Thanks very much Tim, Harry, Vlad and Rick.
The colors were chosen based on film stills and some video and photos I found of the actual cape:
The gold cape lining may not be the exact shade - the real one appears to be more of a salmon color - but I'm happy with it. I think it makes the piece "pop."
Also, it's amazing what a different black and a little satin top coat can do to add dimension to a monochromatic costume...

Outstanding rescue work Derek, a paint job that really does the sculpture justice! I love the Billiken range, benchmark classics that still hold up today.
Perhaps the Creature was the weakest in the line in terms of likeness, mainly due to its hands which are a little too big and its stance which leans a bit.
But Dracula, Frankenstein, The Phantom and Mummy, top draw IMHO.
Cheers,
Paul
