HE'S HERE!!!

#1 Post by Tiger2 »

Robert Eggars version of Nosferatu blew me away and so this quickly became my kit of the year, many thanks to Mark Warthling and the team at Pestilence Labs
once again for releasing such an incredible tribute. Just got him over the line before the UK new year rolls in, I've loved every minute of this build.

3D printed in 21 parts, 7 of which are the rats on the base, plus the base itself which is cast traditionally in resin. The design and composition, fit of parts, the details,
it really captures the essence of the film and the terrifying character. Having the option of hat on or off is another nice little detail, especially with the rotting state of
his skull nicely detailed on the back of his head! The hat and feathers on the front were printed as one piece, really illustrating the advantages of capturing fine detail
with this process.

Watching the movie again I was reminded just how stark, bleak and cold everywhere was, not just in Transylvania but also the home town in Germany as well,
so took the plunge and added frost and snow to the base.

Hope you like him and may 2026 bring new and exciting subjects to our work benches. Eggars is said to be working on a new werewolf film, set in the past and
amongst the folklore of the dark corners of Europe, so hopefully another compelling theme for our hobby to grasp.

Happy New Year one and all!

Cheers,
Paul

Looks great, Paul! I really like your palette choices. The colors match the film well, but are just vibrant enough to not be boring to the eye.
