John Cleese on Creativity - Must Watch - Brilliant and Useful

#1 Post by bucketfoot-al »

This half-hour talk that John Cleese gave to business executives in 1990 (as part of a series of talks he did that was business-related) is a brilliant, witty, humorous dissertation on creativity, how to "get into it", when it works and when it cannot, and how it operates.

I can't tell you how many times, listening to this, I felt validation of my own creative mode, as well as recognition of past times in my life when I could not be creative, both in personal and professional circumstances, because of ... "others" ... that stamped out all signs of creativity around them ... (there's a lesson in there about the type of people to avoid, one which I, and, I suspect, many of us, learned the hard way while going through life).

If you listen to nothing else today while you work - PLEASE listen to this: :drool2:  =D>
