Re: Whatnot App. Show Nov 11th
So far not so great. The audience seems to be comics and collectables, and people getting rid of things. A lot of comic shops seem to be doing it. The model kit buyers are not there yet. it is a nice platform to sell on, so I am attempting to build a following. You lose about 10%, but if you could s...

Whatnot App. Show Nov 11th
Hey everyone. I am going to try out this buying and selling platform called WhatNot. I will be doing it live Nov 11th at about 9:00. It might turn out to be a great place to buy and sell Resin Model Kits and Statues. I won’t know until I try it. The platform allows you to list items while you can sh...

Re: Daredevil
Great painting and love the way you added to it. Are the muscle shadows air brushed in or did you dry brush the lighter red over the darker?

Re: Deadman - by Spyda
Painting something that is suppose to be white is the tricky park. But i did it the same way we do in the comic. shadows of ligt blue and light purple.
The whole white part is separate from the collar so it makes painting it easy.

Re: Tournament Challenge
Thanks guys. I do get a little intimidated because there's so many guy who paint every day. While I didn't ,\mean for this to seem like a competition, and hope it does not, I was hoping I was able to take enough care to not look too bad. When I showed my work to the pros at a company we all want to ...

Re: Tournament Challenge
This is the paint job Jason Gares did. I really love how he went way out there and went with color options that I wouldn't have thought of. The base looks like molten glass and he went with a more sci fi space concept with metallic skin on the girl. That's what is great about sculpting kits. I get t...

Tournament Challenge
I don't normally paint my own stuff myself, since there's so many people who do such a great job. I can usually just have someone else paint so I can sculpt. But I had come up with some color sketches and decided to give it a go myself. i think it came out pretty well. http://spydacreations.com/gall...

Re: Batman
It was inspired by this drawing http://spydacreations.com/clubhouse/batmanrobin.jpg I think for me, every character has an artist who has defined the look of that character the best. So I do make Batman look like Dad's version. Kinda like how everyone has their favorite James Bond. If you like Sean ...

Re: Beginner Dry Brushing - Werewolf
Thanks. The packaging is actually candy boxes made for Halloween. I got lucky and the first one I did fit into them, so then I started sculpting the rest to fit as well.

Irish Folklore - Laignach Faelad
Back before Ireland fought with England, the land was divided into Kingdoms who fought eachother to take eachother's land. It is said that a king could hire the tribe called the Laignach Faelad. It was said that they are either Werewolves, or dressed as wolves, or perhaps turned from man to wolf. Th...
