LOVED this flick back in the day!

"two dollars! I want my two dollars" did anyone else know this is the same kid who played Grover Dill (Scutt Fasrkas' toady) in "A Christmas Story"? He also was in a Van Halen Video- "Hot for Teacher"- he played little Michael Anthony.

There will be a point.
when you will have buy dvd from sites like amazon, ebay, half.com etc.
I don't any blockbusters or hollywood videos around anymore.
Just couple indie stores which rent from but never buy from
because the customers treat the dvds like crap.
Nostalgia can be a bad thing, especially when you are led by it.

Just bought The Dead on BluRay.
By far the coolest zombie movie I've seen in a long time. I enjoyed it so much I'm afraid to watch it again in case
it's not as good the second time.
It has a bit of a lower budget but I didn't notice it. It takes place in (and was filmed on location) South Africa and had the "traditional" slow zombies, who were played by actual villagers.
The ending was a bit iffy but I still enjoyed it immensley. Even the desert and the SA plains seemed
claustrophobic. Very well directed and I really, really like this movie.

No problem John. This one kinda went under the radar.
It has that "realistic" vibe to it with the slow zombs and no over the top action.

Loved The Dead, one of the better horror movies from 2010. I would recommend Stake Land too.

I ordered the 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray of Ben-Hur from Amazon. It was on sale for $28.99 and I used points on my Amazon Visa to bring the price down almost another 7 bucks! :D

Season one of "Game of Thrones" on BluRay. I watched it when it aired, and new I would have to own it on disc. Long time fan of the books, and can't wait for season two to start next week on HBO!

Just one new one for me...

Blu-ray-- The Ten Commandments (1956)-- ordered it from Amazon and used points on my Amazon Visa, so it ended up costing me only $1.90! :D

A few added to the collection:

DVD
7 Faces of Dr. Lao (I bought the OOP pressed disc instead of the burned DVD-R that's currently available from the Warner Archive Collection)

Blu-ray
A Night to Remember (possibly the best film made about the sinking of the Titanic)
Journey to the Center of the Earth (the original 1959 version with James Mason. It's a limited pressing of only 3,000 copies!)
