Now THIS should be interesting - I've not seen much video footage of the "Snowy White" incarnation, and this thing is nearly 2 hours long
http://www.bravewords.com/news/124275
This would have been filmed after "Chinatown" and just before "Renegade". Not sure (yet) of the size of the audience but it sounds echoey and big(ish).
Text quoted below, but there are 2 "dodgy" YouTube "bootleg" vids available if you click on the link above. The 2nd one is"Cowboy song" and it doesn't matter how many times or how many versions of this I hear - Lynott's voice never fails to send shivers down my spine. Damn do I miss that dude
. Downey looks like he was on fire that night as well - but that's nothing unusual!
For my tastes, they were better with pretty much every guitarist OTHER than Snowy White, and this SURE isn't the audience reaction you'd get from a UK audience - but it's still on my "must have at any cost" list. Out November 10th.
"THIN LIZZY, led by the inimitable Phil Lynott, were one of the greatest rock bands ever to come out of Ireland. The new "Are Your Ready? – Live At Rockpalast" DVD from Loreley, Germany in 1981 was filmed for the German TV series Rockpalast. The set draws tracks from across Thin Lizzy’s career and alongside the hits includes 'Hollywood', from the as then not yet released 'Renegade', 'Desaster', a track unique to this release, and 'Memory Pain' which never made it onto any of their albums. Always a great live band, this DVD captures Thin Lizzy at their very best. Line-up features Phil Lynott – lead vocals, bass; Scott Gorham – guitar, backing vocals; Brian Downey – drums; Snowy White – guitar; Darren Wharton – keyboards.
Are Your Ready? – Live At Rockpalast will be released on November 10th via Eagle Vision.
Tracklisting:
Sound Formats: DTS, Dolby 5.1, Dolby Digital Stereo
Running Time: 112 minutes"

Re: Update Oct 09 - YET MORE good news for Thin Lizzy fans!
I have had this concert on dvd since 04', when Studio Hamburg/WDR Fernsehen first released it. A great concert!!!!!!!!!!! And it has black rose, what more could any thin lizzy fan want? The song "disaster" is an early version of "Angel of Death" BTW. One to own, for sure!!! Jeff
Ps. since it is almost Halloween, this might be of interest: in an old 70's Circus magazine, they had asked what the favorite monsters of rock stars were, and Philip's answer was......Godzilla!

Those of us that love Lizzy will really enjoy the info and great news in this podcast.
The new lineup is REALLY cool.
About an hour long - but WELL worth listening to - just leave it on in the background as you're surfing!
