No water fountains at your venue?
I never buy beverages at a venue, unless there are like more than 3 bands playing.
We got lucky. The weather was warm, but not real hot.
Mid 80's at the start of the show, and down in the lower 70's by the end of the show.
It rocked!
Bruce was having a blast last night. I think the crowd impressed him early. Lots of sections he let us sing the lyrics

Lots of pyro. Which was nice, as I don't remember them using any on the last tour. They had like 6 flame pots that were practically scorching the lighting rigs. Firewords. And lots of fog to go with the show.
Alice was great up close. Britny snagged one of his batons that he tossed out. I almost got a pick, but gave it to the guy who told me it was under my foot.
Almost had my head taken off by a few other picks. Man those guys playing for Alice can really sling those things!
It was a very nice, casual pit too. Everyone just wanted to see the show and have some fun. Not real bunched up, and everyone was friendly (except when Maiden started tossing wristbands

)
Didn't like the stage at this venue though.
Since the floor is basically flat, the stage is really elevated. The floor of the stage was well above eye level. which lead to a big gap between the stage and the barrier just so people were back far enough to actually be able to see past the lip of the stage. Very few of the bills from Billion Dollar Babies made it out to the crowd. Most fell in the gap between us and the stage.
(love my home shed even more now. Stage is lower than waist high. And gap between stage and barrier is just wide enough for 2 people to pass by each other)
