After the great success of the Jerseyfest 2012 kit painting class (had about 34 students) and seminars, we’ve decided to go all out for our 2013 show. The Jerseyfest team is proud to announce “Jerseyfest Academy”, which will consist of multiple hands on classes and workshops by some of the very best artists in the hobby. The all day events will be on Friday, September 13th, right before the Jerseyfest vendor show. We don’t have all the details yet, but you can get a “sneak peak” at what will be offered by checking out the following section of our web site: http://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=47
this is great, anyone who appriciates this hobby and would like to try their hand at putting a good paint job on one of these kits can do so ....where else does this happen besides wonderfest. it is a unique opportunity to get quality direction from some of the best artists in the business and walk away with a kit and now it is expanded to four categories. real good move
Badger Airbrush Co. and Black Heart will be supplying JerseyFest Academy's Figure Artist Airbrush Asylum. The class will feature headliners Saul Alvarez and Rick Cantu; Badger's owner, Ken Schlotfeldt; Black Heart's George Stephenson and other helpers; Black Heart's 1:1 scale Monster Squad Gillman; Badger's Renegade Krome Airbrush and assorted colors of Badger's airbrush paint; and some other really cool surprises. Stay tuned for more details re price, specials, reserving your spot, class size and class structure.
Simply put, under the tutelage of our class headliners, and with top quality products, you just can't have a better time finishing a kit. We can hardly wait.

Amen to that George, its going to be another great experience for us all! Looking forward to seeing eveyone in the classes once again.
I learned so much in the airbrush class this year and I am looking forward to the 2013 class. But I am interested in the figure sculpting class. Are the planned to be at the same time?

Thanks for the compliments and attending the class! Our instructors are terrific and we are lucky to have them.
Yes, the 4 Jerseyfest Academy classes at our 2013 show will be occurring simultaneously in different rooms, so you'll have to pick the one you want to attend the most.
Really looking forward to this years classes. I know that I will be doing the bust again, but which bust to choose (Gilman vs. Creature) is a tough one for me.
Has anyone heard any more details about the classes on Friday? I am trying to figure out if i can talk my into letting me attend the class again. I have been checking the website every couple days for any updates.
I want to take a painting class and I'm bringing my brother who has paint experience with Dungeons and Dragons. Would be nice to know how much the classes are before I offer to pay for his class. Family only goes so far when it comes to money. (Sorry if that offends anyone, I mean for entertainment not for help).
Thanks,
Bobby D

Thanks in advance for your patience. We are working on finalizing the details for what will absolutely be "top shelf" offerings for hobbyists.
