Filmys Girls - Pearl

#1 Post by resin addict »

Well, first a huge "Thank-You" to Marc (Filmy) for managing to get me a copy of Pearl in time for Wonderfest this year...there were a lot of late nights, but I managed to get her finished in time (although I do have to admit, there was some last minute final assembly in the room yet on Saturday morning)...
Don't have really good pictures yet, but wanted to show what one of these beautiful kits looks like with paint on it.
If you didn't hear, the copies available at the show were all sold out by 8:17 am, and my understanding is there's a pretty big line of people already waiting for the next run, so if you're on the fence, signup now. It's a builder's kit with a lot of pieces, but I'd highly recommend it, and it builds into a beautiful display.

It is obviously, the "highlight" of your kitchen. Gorgeous piece.
I suspect, it must bring a lot of questions from your guest and family members.

An impressive kit and a phenomenal build. Gorgeous colour palette.

She's magnificent.

Great job, it looks fantastic.
Like the color choices. All the pieces complement each other instead of competing for your attention.
Really like that patterning on the eel and shell.

Looks great. I see you added a tube to "float" her above the clam. Did you make any other modifications?
