Yagher Jekyll and Hyde Aurora box art tribute revamp

#1 Post by KCP »

This Jeff Yagher kit is one of my all-time favorites. It has some real possibilities for expansion, so I made a "room" to add a few things, including a couple of Dimensional Designs' lab tables. Should be finished in a few weeks. Trying to figure out how to add properly scaled oil-lamp sconce lighting at present..sheeesh....

Have you tried eBay under "dollhouse"? There are all sort of useable items.

Yep..found a few items, but mostly 1:12 scale, too small. 1:6 & 1:7 kinda tough to find, so I'll have to be creative.

I did an "expansion" of this kit a while back. Found lots of stuff on ebay. But had to make most of it myself.

Excellent! Yes, you see, as I do, the possibilities with this kit...Fantastic job...wow!
I'll post a pic of some progress I've made....Nice thing about this Yagher kit is, no two customize jobs will be the same, but by the nature of the subject and the time period on which it belongs ensure they will all be akin to one another, if this makes sense.
Again, yours is superb in all aspects.

The floor is made mostly of balsa combined with some hardwood strips, joined to the original resin base flooring.

I was going to suggest to look at Shapeways for accessories. The clear offerings they have might aid you in lighting. But I see you have accessories well in hand. The dio looks outstanding!

The question is not so much where we are as when we are.
