Tinker Bell wip ( slight nudity)

Hello,

This is something I made some time ago for Pathos creations .
The challenge was the pose . Very cramped , and she should be resting her chin on her knee .
But I got only so far as the back of her hand .
I did not want to stretch her legs unnaturally long .
You guys probably guessed by now from were , what painting , this comes from .
Is there need for the reference ?

This will be a short wip. I dont want to bore people .

OH, I found it. I knew it was a Campbell, I just wasn't hitting it on my search.

I see what you mean about the pose. Painters can get away with twisting fairies into bizarre poses more easily than sculptors.

Android : haha , you are so right . Even though , in my experience , Campbell usually nails the anatomy pretty well . I mean the proportions .Much better than others . He does his homework .

Well , now to the final photos .
The base depicts only the things inside the drawer , not the drawer itself . That would impede the view .
I had to rearrange things a bit , and change the size of some .

I googled and checked out the reference art. As you have done before on other drawing-based projects, you've captured the essence and spirit of the 2D art in 3 dimensions without simply making it a slavish copy.

Beautiful and sweet -- just as Tinker Bell should be.
