Hammer Dracula 1958

#1 Post by Tiger2 »

Hi Folks,

Here's my efforts with Alternative Images kit of Christopher Lee and Valerie Gaunt, sculpted to perfection by Chuck Needham.
I scratch built the pillar and eagle, having been inspired by Stewart Jackson's awesome build of this classic piece of Hammer action.
Build thread here: viewtopic.php?p=1465799#p1465799

Cheers,
Paul

Great work Paul.
Those scratch built elements are excellent!
And, of course, the painting is beautiful.
A great looking piece. =D>

Paul, you really did an amazing job on this! The stone eagle copies the one in the opening of the film perfectly. Now I want to re-do the eagle on mine!

Big thanks to your inspiring build Stewart, I've got some good photos of the actual prop if you want them!

Big thanks one and all, much appreciated. In a bid to try and put another dent in the stash, I'm now going to try and get 3 projects going at once, a first for me.
I've always just built one kit at a time, but if I keep going at that pace, I'll never finish half of what's there! Update coming once I've got subjects sorted.
Cheers for now,
Paul

Once again another excellent build and paint job! His face is perfect and I really like the leaves on the steps.
