Moohead's Edgar Allan Poe - in tintype

#1 Post by Crazy Joe »

Howdy, Clubhousers!

Been a few months, I know, been busy *SQUIRREL!!!* and really had catchin' y'all up on stuff comin' outta the Dojo - at least 30+ models either for commission or *gasp* - MYSELF!!!

So here's a piece I finished for a certain alchemist, was a real joy to do - my first "tintype" style -painting - wasn't hard to do, and I demonstrated this at Wonderfest previously -

Here's one I used a "sepia" filter on, to give it a REALLY 1888 vibe to it -

Thanks for lookin' y'all! More to come -

Nice work on that little kit.
That style works well for the subject.

Excellent work Joe! You captured both the inspiration and the melancholy which defined Poe.
