Tom, just wanted to add a thanks for posting the pics. It's always fun to see shots from a show I can't attend. Thanks again.

Tom--thanks so much for posting the pics. I made it to Chiller, but thanks to the ridiculous muck-up in crowd control, never got to see most of the vendor tables. We got there at 9 am, waited in the cold until we could get in at 11 am and went up to the vendors on the 2nd floor. I DID get to see the Shiflett/Bowen Juggernaut and some other very nice kits, but I was looking specifically for Wayne Hansen and Diceman creations so didn't really stop to look. It took a bit but I found Wayne, who was very sweet and took me across the hallway to the 2nd ballroom to meet the guys from Amazing Figure Modeler (I wanted an airbrushing video). Then I got separated from my friends and went out to the car to get my cell phone to find out where they were. Once I got back inside, I wasn't allowed to go back upstairs -- there was a line so long waiting to get to the vendors, I would have had to wait over an hour just to GO UPSTAIRS! It was insane...people still waiting to get admission were screaming at the guys outside who were maintaining the line, the guys were screaming back--the police were called, it wasn't a happy time for a while. I was VERY disappointed not to make it back upstairs--I'm glad I at least got my DVD's from Wayne.
As for Adam West, he was very sweet to us--my friend's daughter is a huge fan of his voice acting and Photoshopped up a collage of all his roles from Batman up to the animated ones he plays today--he loved it, autographed it for free and posed for a photo as well.
I hope they move it to a bigger venue next year -- I've never been to any kind of convention where access to the vendors was so restricted -- I'm sure they couldn't have been happy about it either. They should also have all the booths clearly labeled so you know who you're looking at, and a floor map to help you find specific people would be helpful as well.

Thanks everyone, my pleasure.

Dragonfly - This is why I stopped going
on Sat and only do Fri nights, Yes Fri was crowded, but
if you wait out the crowd say around 9 -10 the place
starts to thin out a little and you can walk and see the kits
and other cool stuff they have.

I take my pics first then go and talk to the dealers and
buy my kits.

Now that I know what to expect, I may play it that way next year as well, but I'm still hoping they move it to the convention center.

Thanks again for taking the time to post the pics!

Got my batch up yesterday....
http://www.chillertheatre.com/c1005/chil1005.htm

Loved the new female kit on AFM's table, Vinny's
Selma, Dice's big Gilluna, and the outstanding work
entered in the model contest!

Congrats to 'Finkle' on his win! and to everyone else
that walked away with a award! Was light, but the
quality of work was superb!!

Highlight of the show was the day Dice discovered a dealer
had recasted one of HIS kits!!!!! We were rolling and laughing
up a storm the WHOLE weekend! Was freaking priceless!!!!!

Hey Buc; I know that it was the Terminator that got recast, but do you know WHO the dealer was? Might want to keep an eye on eBay...

Someone mentioned 'Assault'... it was the dealer on your side
with all the blasters on their table.
