Bashing up some more styrene for Halloween!

#1 Post by dr.realart.md »

 Hey Gang! I bashed up some more styrene and posted them to my photos. There's a new DRACULA, HERCULES, SUPERMAN, FRANKENSTEIN and MUMMY! This Superman is my first superhero kit I've ever done. They are all old build ups so not perfect but anyway thought you might like a look! http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/dragginfl ... 31&.src=ph

Cool Stuff there and nice work. That's quite a collection. The Superman turned out great too, you should do more superheroes!

Thanks everyone! I continue to branch out with Aurora and I've started doing the non-monsters kits more and more...I think I had but a very few of them as a child. I seem to remember the Batmobile and Batplane but not much else. I always saw Superman around at a friends house but wasn't impressed much with it...now that I actually repainted one, I can see what a great work of modelling it was..very dynamic! On the Frankenstein model..I don't know if you can see it very well but his left foot is actaually raised off the tombstone. I always thought the way the monster's foot was postioned it looked WRONG so I started to adjust the foot to slant it forward as if he is in motion. It worked out extremely well and he now looks more like the Bama painting actually lunging forward! Much more SCARY  For Dracula as before I gave him fangs..I mean what's a Vampire without FANGS! I think it improves that model alot..in my opinion!
