So, who here likes mash-ups?
(you know the combining of 2 different songs)
The reason for this thread.
This morning, a local radio station was promoting an upcoming event.
The had one of the local band that will be performing there, in the studio. They did a few songs acoustic on the air.
One of them was a mash-up of Journey's Don't Stop Believing, and Metallica's Enter Sandman.
I kicked butt.
So I went looking on youtube to see if anyone else has done that.
Turns out lots of people have done it, and it is called Don't Stop The Sandman
The best version I saw was this.

Anyway.
This got me to thinking. What do fellow Clubhousers think of mash ups?
Got any favorites?

Re: Mash-ups
Yeah.
Another station (in Cleveland) plays a syndicated show on Saturday nights. Think it's called Scratch-n-Sniff.
They do mash-ups with rap and metal tunes.
I hear it when I am in the area at the right time.
Some are just so killer.
But on the flip side, when they miss, they usually really miss.
At least that seems to be how it works with my tastes.

Re: Mash-ups
I heard one of these a few weeks back on the local "Rock 101" station (so named because that's the number of songs they have in their "classic rock" catalogue
)
I THINK it was a Zeppelin/Beatles mash-up - and was pretty durned good (Helter Skelter may have been the Beatles track?)
Anyone have any other info and/or a YouTube link?
