had to share this over here.
I have a friend who is a big Universal fan and I painted him up a Moebius Frankenstein for his birthday.
This is what he sent me as a thank you.

Great image.
Looks like there's was a label on the glass for many years, the part of the photo under the label not fading from expose to light like the rest.

The GIMP Image Manipulator program has plug ins you could use to make a restored image from a scan of this photo.
GIMP is open source freeware, works very nicely.

Hehe, I'm pretty sure that the "label" is actually a reflection of his phone/camera... :wink:

Yep I can see it now.
What I'd taken for discoloration around it is actually a translucent reflection of his hand holding the camera.

The reflections on the glass made the photo appear faded.

Cool, this means the photo is in pretty good condition.
